Cr-443/1; CRI-9; Syd-1006. Obverse: Elephant advancing right, trampling upon horned serpent; Reverse: Emblems of the pontificate: simpulum, aspergillum, securis, and apex. One of the more popular types from the Roman world, this specimen presents a fairly well centered strike paired with appealing toning and a good deal of lustrous brilliance remaining.

Cr-443/1; CRI-9; Syd-1006. Obverse: Elephant advancing right, trampling upon horned serpent; Reverse: Emblems of the pontificate: simpulum, aspergillum, securis, and apex. A remarkably sharp and lustrous example of this famous type. Slightly off-center on the obverse, but the elephant design and Caesar's full name remain fully on the flan. Beautiful surface quality overall, with only faint traces of hairlines detectable under close inspection.

A pleasing Choice example of this always demanded type, offering a bold strike and nice centering. A touch of tone brightens the surfaces, and the noted brushing is limited and hard to see.

Cr-468/1; CRI-58; Syd-1014. Obverse: Diademed head of Venus right, with Cupid over her shoulder; Reverse: Trophy of Gallic arms, composed of helmet and cuirass, oval shield and carnyx in each hand; two seated captives at base---the one on left a female in attitude of dejection, the one on right a bearded male with hands bound behind him. A deeply toned specimen with very little in the way of handling, though some off-centering is noted upon both sides.
