CILICIA. Pompeiopolis. Gordian III, 238-244. (Bronze, 33 mm, 16.38 g, 1 h), dated civic year ϚΤ (306) = 240/1. ΑΥΤ Κ Μ ΑΝΤ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟC CΕΒ/ Π Π Radiate and cuirassed bust of Gordian to right. Rev. ΠΟΜΠΗΙΟΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ / Α/Ϛ Ϛ/Τ Draped bust of Aratos to right. RPC VII.2, 2956.11 (this coin). SNG Paris 1250. Ziegler 594. Rare. Rough surfaces, otherwise, about very fine.
