| Lot description: THRACE, Maroneia. Late 2nd-mid 1st centuries BC. AR Tetradrachm (33mm, 15.80 g, 1h). Head of young Dionysos right, wearing ivy wreath / Dionysos standing half-left, holding grapes and narthex stalks; monograms flanking. Schönert-Geiss 1262–7 var. (V77/R– [unlisted rev. die with this monogram]); CN Online Type 2150; HGC 2, 1556; Dow, ACTTB, p. 86 (this coin).
