LUCANIA, Thourioi. Circa 400-350 BC. AR Nomos (18mm, 7.76 g, 10h). Reverse die signed by Molossos. Helmeted head of Athena right, Skylla scanning on the bowl / Bull butting right on exergual line inscribed MOΛOΣΣOΣ; in exergue, fish right. HN Italy 1784; SNG ANS 1026 (same obv. die); Dow, ACTTB, p. 89 (this coin). Toned, overstruck on uncertain type, some roughness on obverse. Good VF.
