EASTERN EUROPE, Imitations of Alexander III of Macedon. 3rd-2nd centuries BC. AR Tetrarachm (27mm, 16.91 g, 7h). Imitating Amphipolis mint issue struck under Kassander. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, Λ above torch; pseudo-monogram below throne. Dow, ACTTB, p. 99 (this coin). For prototype; cf. Price 444–97. Toned, light porosity, scrapes on obverse. VF.
