PHOENICIA. Marathos. 166/5-152/1 BC. (Bronze, 17 mm, 4.04 g, 12 h), dated year 108 of the Arados era = 152/1. Turreted and draped bust of Tyche to right, with palm branch over left shoulder. Rev. Marathos standing to left, resting left arm on column and holding aphlaston in his right hand; in left field, Phoenician date; in right field, Phoenician letters. DCA 833. Duyrat, Ateliers 312 var. (Phoenician letters). HGC 10, 202. Green patina with minor earthen encrustations. Some roughness and deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
