SICILY. Gela. Circa 420-405 BC. Tetras or Trionkion (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.39 g, 2 h). Bull standing right; above, olive branch; in exergue, three pellets (mark of value). Rev. ΓΕΛAΣ Horned head of the river god Gelas to right; behind, barley grain. CNS III 46. HGC 2, 380. Jenkins, Gela, 527-8. SNG ANS 120. Slightly rough and with minor deposits, otherwise, very fine.
