PHOENICIA, Byblos (Gebal). temp. Yehawmilk. Circa 450 BC. AR Twelfth Shekel (8.5mm, 0.55 g, 3h). Sphinx seated left, two wings displayed, wearing double crown of Egypt / Hawk standing left, wearing double crown of Egypt; crook and flail diagonally in background, [lotus flower to left]; all within incuse square. E&E-B Group II.2.2; HGC 10, 121 corr. (denomination). Rough surfaces, cleaning scratches on obverse. VF. Rare.
