CYPRUS, Paphos. Nikokles. Circa 325-310/09 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 17.30 g, 6h). In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Struck circa 321-320 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin, NIKOKΛEOYΣ in tiny letters in lion's mane (only partially visible, as usual) / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; monogram (of Paphos) in left field, bee below throne. Zapiti & Michaelidou 14 var. (grain ear below throne); Tziambazis 11; Price 3120; May, Paphos 4 (A2/P– [unlisted rev. die]). Faintly toned, traces of find patina, slight die wear on obverse, some weakness to strike on reverse. Good VF.
