Blank (young male head left) / YHD (Paleo-Hebrew), eagle standing facing, head left, wings spread. GBC 6, 6078 (302/1-294 BC). CPE 249 (300-294 BC). AJC I 117, 14. According to Y. Ronen, the early Yehud coins were struck on a standard based on the 11.4 gm shekels of the Israelite period with likely 24 gerah to the shekel. (Ronen, Y.
