INDIA, Kushan Empire. Kanishka I. Circa AD 127-151. CU Tetradrachm (24.5mm, 13.89 g, 12h). Main mint in Kapisha (Begram?). Middle phase. Kanishka standing left, sacrificing over altar and holding standard / Athsho, hand on hip, standing left, holding diadem in outstretched hand; tamgha to left. MK 772; ANS Kushan 459-79; Donum Burns 153-7. Earthen dark brown surfaces, worn at high points, porosity. Near VF.
