Lot description: ASIA MINOR, Uncertain. Mark Antony and Octavia. Summer-autumn 39 BC. AR Cistophorus (26mm, 11.87 g, 12h). Ephesus mint(?). Conjoined heads right of Mark Antony, wearing ivy wreath, and Octavia, slight drapery; M • ANTONIVS IMP • COS • DESIG • ITER ET TERT • around / Dionysus, holding cantharus in right hand and thyrsus in left, standing left on cista mystica flanked by interlaced serpents; III • VIR • downward to left, R • P • C upward to right.
