Lot description: PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Ptolemy VI Philometor. First sole reign, 180-170 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 14.13 g, 12h). Uncertain mint in Cyprus. Dated year 102 of an uncertain era (171/0 BC). Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, aegis around neck / ΠTOΛEMAIOY ΣΩTHPOΣ, eagle with closed wings standing left on winged thunderbolt; BP (date, in monogram form) to left.
