Diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, wearing aegis around neck. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ Eagle with closed wings standing left on thunderbolt; across field, P-IE (date); between eagle's legs, Є. SNG Copenhagen 556. Svoronos 1224. Boldly struck and with an unusual portrait. Somewhat rough and with light marks and minor deposits, otherwise, very fine.
