Lot description: SELEUKID KINGS. Demetrios II Nikator, first reign, 146-138 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 13.85 g, 12 h), Ptolemaic standard, Tyre, SE 170 = 143/2. Diademed and draped bust of Demetrios II to right. Rev. ΒAΣIΛEΩΣ - ΔHMHTPIOY Eagle, wings closed, standing left on prow; behind, palm frond; in field to left, club surmounted by city monogram; in field to right, OP (date) above monogram. CSE 755.
