Elephant advancing right, trampling on horned serpent / Emblems of the pontificate: simpulum, aspergillum, securis, and apex. Eye-appealing iridescent toning, well centered and sharply struck with clear CAESAR in exergue; an iconic coin from Caesar's military mint as he crossed the Rubicon in 49 BC and very important to collectors, this a choice example.
