ANCIENT GREEK, Moesia, Istros, AR drachm, ca. 280-256/5 BC. AMNG I 439-440; HGC 3, 1801. 5.36 grams. Facing male heads, the right inverted / Sea-eagle right, grasping dolphin with talons; letters below dolphin and ISTRIH above sea eagle. Darkly toned XF struck on smallish flan, medallic alignment, somewhat rare type with eagle right on reverse.
