In name of Arsinoe. Tetradrachm, Alexandria late 260s-255/4, AR 28 mm, 13.39 g. Head r. veiled and wearing stephane; lotus-tipped sceptre in background, in l. field, Z. Rev. APΣINOHΣ – ΦΙΛΑΔΕΛΦΟΥ Eagle standing l. on thunderbolt; between legs, X. Svoronos 456 and pl. XVI, 16. SNG Copenhagen 140. CPE 386.
Rare. Lovely iridescent tone, surface somewhat porous. Hairline flan crack at
twelve o'clock on obverse, otherwise extremely fine
