Silver tetradrachm, circa 80-68 BC. Tigranokerta.
Obv: diademed and draped bust right, wearing Armenian tiara with five peaks, adorned with star flanked by two eagles and jewelled diadem. Rev: BAΣIΛEΩΣ TIΓPANOY, Tyche of Antioch seated right on rock pile, holding palm, Orontes swimming right below; ΔH monogram on rock and Θ to inner right field, all within wreath.Extremely Fine; minor scratches, wonderful old cabinet tone.
