Lot description: Theodore Comnenus-Ducas. As emperor of Thessalonica, 1227-1230. AR Aspron Trachy Nomisma (28.5mm, 2.76 g, 6h). Thessalonica mint. Christ Pantokrator enthroned facing, nimbate, raising hand in benediction and holding Gospels / Facing figures of Theodore, wearing crown and loros, and St. Demetrius, holding sword over shoulder, holding long staff with triangle and cross in circle between them.
