Lot description: Andronicus I Comnenus. 1183-1185. EL Aspron Trachy Nomisma (31mm, 4.36 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. The Theotokos, orans, standing facing on suppedion; facing head of the Holy Infant on breast / Andronicus standing facing, wearing crown and chlamys, holding labarum and akakia, being crowned by Christ, nimbate, holding Gospels.
