Lot description: Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. AR Denarius (20mm, 3.15 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 208. Laureate head right / Septimius Severus seated facing on curule chair, holding small Victory and leaning on shield (or orb), born by small figure (Atlas?) kneeling left; above to right, Victory flying left crowning the emperor.
