INDIA, Kushan Empire. Kujula Kadphises. Circa AD 50-90. Æ Unit (18.5mm, 3.00 g, 12h). Roman Emperor type. In the name of Kujula Kadphises as yabgu. Uncertain Taxila area mint. Laureate Roman head with features of Augustus right / King seated right on curule-style chair, extending arm and holding sword hilt; tripartite circular device to left; bra in Kharosthi to right. Senior –, but cf. B9.1; ANS Kushan 109-12; Donum Burns 36-40. Earthen dark green patina, roughness, cleaning marks. Near VF.
