Claudius II Gothicus, (A.D. 268-270), silver antoninianus, Antioch Mint, first emission, second phase, late 268-early 269, (3.54 g), obv. IMC C CLAVDIVS AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. Juno standing left, holding patera and sceptre, IVNO REGINA, B in exergue, (S.11343, RIC 212, Hunter 76); together with another similar, Antioch Mint, 268-269, (4.09 g), obv. as above, rev. Hercules standing facing head to left, resting on club and holding a lion skin, IVVENTVS AVG around, D in exergue, (S.11344, RIC 213, C.136). Both extremely fine with much silvering. (2)
