Draped bust of Hormizd I to right, wearing crown with decorated korymbos and a lion's head; legend in Pahlavi "AWHRMYZDY MLKA" (King Hormizd) followed by, reverse, legend in Pahlavi "BWLZAWNDY YZDTY" (Ever-lasting God), figure of Ahuramazda in the fire altar, holding ribboned diadem and long spear.
