| Lot description: PONTOS. Amisos. Time of Mithradates VI Eupator, circa 85-65 BC. (Bronze, 21 mm, 8.87 g, 1 h). Head of young Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. ΑΜΙΣΟΥ Panther skin and thyrsos on cista mystica; to left and right of cista, monograms. HGC 7, 243. Malloy 26g. SNG BM Black Sea 1209. About extremely fine.
