His laureate head right; ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P COS III / Salus standing left, holding scepter and feeding from patera a serpent coiled around and rising from altar to left; SALVS AVG S C. RIC III 635. Near Extremely Fine; beautiful mahogany 'Tiber' patina; crisply struck on both sides. Magnificent portrait clearly the work of a master engraver. Fine style.
