MACEDON, Roman Republican period. Aesillas. Quaestor, circa 95-70 BC. AR Tetradrachm (31.5mm, 16.31 g, 12h). Uncertain mint. Head of the deified Alexander the Great right; Θ to left / Money chest, club, and chair; all within wreath. Bauslaugh Group II, obv. die 12C; HGC 3, 1110. Toned with some iridescence, porosity, obverse die wear, obverse slightly off center, some scratches and areas of flatness on reverse. VF.
