A Trio of Celtic Imitations of Alexander the Great Tetradrachmae (3): i) Uncertain mint, c. 300 BC, Celticised head of Herakles right, rev. stylised Zeus Aetophoros seated left, holding long sceptre, X within wreath to left field, X below throne, 15.58g, (Price -, but cf. B4 (cornucopiae in left field)), good fine or thereabouts; ii) contemporary imitation of Antigonos I Monopthalmos as Strategos of Asia, (c. 320-305 BC), struck c. 318-315, as before, F to left field, P below throne, 16.04g (cf. Price 2653-54 var. (star in left field, or amphora in right), nice portrait, fine to good fine; iii) Imitating Seleukos I of Syria, c. 312-281 BC, as before, rev. monogram within wreath to left field X or star below throne, 15.19g (cf. SC 82; cf. Price 3714), light porosity to portrait, nevertheless toned good fine to very fine (3)..
