INDO-GREEK KINGDOMS. Bactria. Zoilos I (ca. 150-130 BC). AR drachm (16mm, 2.24 gm, 11h). VF, tooled. Indian standard. Uncertain mint in Arachosia, the Paropamisadai, or Gandhara. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΔIKAIOY/ ΞΩΙΛOY, diademed, draped bust of Zoilos I right seen from front / Maharajasa dhramikasa Jhoilasa (Kharosthi), Heracles standing facing, with wreath in outstretched right hand, club cradled in left arm and draped with lion skin; AΘY monogram in lower left field. Bopearachchi 3B. HGC 12, 218. Evidence of tooling, thus ineligible for encapsulation.
