Bronze sestertius, AD 130-133. Rome.
From the 'Travel Series' ('Provinces Cycle'). Obv: HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, laureate and draped bust right. Rev: ADVENTVI AVG ITALIAE, Emperor standing right, raising hand and holding scroll; facing him, Italia standing left, holding patera and cornucopia; between them, altar with bull at the base; SC in exergue.
