EGYPT, Alexandria. Antoninus Pius. AD 138-161. Æ Drachm (33mm, 21.22 g, 11h). Dated RY 17 (AD 153/4). Laureate bust left, traces of drapery on right shoulder / Altar of Agathodaimon: hexastyle façade with garlanded entablature set on two-tiered base; above, aphlasta on either end; pyre of burning pinecones in center; I-Z/L (date) across field and in exergue. Köln 1701 var. (obv. bust type); Dattari (Savio) 3011-3; K&G 35.597; RPC IV.4 Online 1584; Emmett 1448.17. Red-green patina, roughness, smoothing, reverse details enhanced, flan crack. Near VF.
