Solidus (Gold, 23 mm, 4.39 g, 7 h), uncertain eastern mint (Alexandria?), 613-618. dd NN hERACLIЧS ET hERA CONST Draped and short-bearded bust of Heraclius facing, wearing crown surmounted by cross, on the left; draped and beardless bust of Heraclius Constantine facing, wearing crown surmounted by cross, on the right. Rev. VICTORIA AVGЧ IΠ / CONOB Cross potent on base and three steps. DOC 188b. MIB 77 (attributed to Cyprus). SB 851 (attributed to Jerusalem). Minor edge nicks and the obverse struck from a somewhat worn die and with light doubling, otherwise, extremely fine.
