GLORIA RO-MANORVM / CONS Roma seated left, holding Victory on globe in her right hand and scepter in her left; at her side, shield; in field to left, Δ. RIC 23. Nearly extremely fine.

The very fine hair lines indicate that the lines were engraved with a stickler. Many other coins show that a crescent-shaped or linear punch was used to create the hair. We can assume that different masters or schools for engravers preferred different methods to produce the coin dies.
