CAESAR•IMP Laureate head of Julius Caesar to right; behind, lituus and simpulum. Rev. M•METTIVS Venus Victrix standing front, head to left, holding Victory in her right hand and scepter in her left, and resting her left elbow on shield set on globe to right; in field to left, I. Cf. Babelon (Julia) 34, Crawford 480/3, CRI 100, RBW 1678 and Sydenham 1056. Breaks in plating and with minor deposits, otherwise, fine.

VOTA SVSCEPTA X Caracalla, veiled, standing front, head to left, sacrificing out of patera with his right hand over lighted tripod altar. Cf. BMC 302, Cohen 688 and RIC 150 (for prototype of reverse). Light scratches and with a minor edge crack, otherwise, about very fine.

IIIP CONSTNII-IIIS NVG Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to left, holding spear in his right hand. Rev. IIICT LAETE PIIIIИC PEHP / ΓSIS Two Victories standing facing each other and holding shield inscribed VOT/PN over altar inscribed S. Cf. RIC 55 (for possible prototype). Somewhat rough, otherwise, good very fine.

This is a contemporary imitation of the so called Danubian type of Constantine's 'VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP' coinage, which was struck from 318 in Siscia.

CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB Laureate head of Constantine II to right. Rev. CAESARVM NOSTROPVM / [A]QS around wreath containing VOT / X flanked by two palm fronds. Cf. RIC 111 (for prototype). Slightly rough and with a small die break on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.

The style of this coin is clearly unofficial, indicating a contemporary 'barbarous' imitation. Interestingly, the obverse die was used also with a 'VIRTV-S AVGG' reverse with an Arelate mint mark.
