IMP C PROBVS AVG, radiate and mantled bust to left, holding eagle-tipped sceptre / SALVS AVG, Salus standing facing, head to right, feeding serpent; V to left, TXXI in exergue. This coin is part of the EQVITI series struck at Ticinum, the significance of which has been much discussed by numismatists and yet remains a mystery.
