Barbarous Tetricus II, as Caesar, BI Antoninianus. After the Colonia Agrippinensis mint issues of AD 272-273. C PIV ESV TETRICVS CAES, radiate and draped bust to right / PIETA[S AVGVSTO], pontifical implements. For prototype, cf. RIC V.2 258; cf. Mairat, 2014 (unpublished PhD thesis), 800. 2.40g, 17mm, 6h.

Near Extremely Fine.

Intriguingly the engraver of this reverse has replaced one of the pontifical implements with an amphora.
