NABATAEA. Obodas II, with Hagaru I. Circa 30-9 BC. AR Half Shekel – "didrachm" (14mm, 5.89 g, 12h). Pre-reform coinage. Petra mint. Dated RY 3 (28/7 BC). Jugate diademed and draped busts of Obodas and Hagaru right; [Nabataean Ḥ to lower right] / Eagle standing left; Nabataean S to upper left, Nabataean Ḥ to upper right, ŠNT TLT (in Nabataean = year three [date]) across central field. CN 25; Meshorer, Nabataea 89–90; DCA 962. Dark find patina, some roughness, cleaning marks. Good VF.
