Obv: IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HA - DRIANVS A[VG] Bust laureate, draped, cuirassed r. Rx: FORT RED / S C in exergue, PONT MAX TR P[OT] COS DES II around, Fortuna, veiled, seated l., throne back above shoulders left out, holding rudder and cornucopia. Ex Curtis L. Clay Collection; ex CNG E392, 1 March 2017, 533. Scarce COS DES II date (late 117 AD); our coin could be only the second known FORT RED COS DES II sestertius with this bust type, according to RIC.Excellent surfaces. aEF
