This very interesting issue combines an obverse of Philip II as Augustus with a reverse dated 'TR P III = 246'. However, Philip only became Augustus in July-August 247, when he was already 'TR P IIII' since January 1, meaning that the mint erroneously used a reverse die on this coin which was already more than half a year old. Sin embargo, Filipo no se convirtió en Augusto hasta Julio-Agosto de 247, cuando ya era 'TR P IIII' desde el 1 de Enero, lo que significa que la casa de la moneda utilizó erróneamente un troquel de reverso que ya tenía más de medio año, para una moneda cuyo anverso sería datado correctamente con 'TR P IIII'.
