Hadrian, 117-138. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 29 mm, 14.27 g, 6 h), Rome, circa late 120-121. IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG P M TR P COS III Radiate and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. PIETAS AVGVSTI / S - C Pietas, veiled, standing right, holding acerrum in her left hand and dropping incense over lighted altar with her right. BMC 1233. Cohen 1044. RIC 478. Spots of smoothing and corrosion on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
