Cr-544/14; CRI-349; Syd-1216. Legionary type. Obverse: Praetorian galley right; Reverse: Aquila between two signa; LEG II across lower field. A great example of the popular "legionary" issue struck in the lead up to Antony and Cleopatra's battle against the forces of Octavian at Patrae, with solid centering, enticing toning, and a flan of good metal.

A well-struck example of the type, yielding great luster and clarity of detail. Slightly off-center obverse, but impressively well-preserved.

A stunning example, this popular type offers a splendid portrait of Melkart as well immense lustrous brilliance emanating from the fields.
