AUGUSTUS, 27 BC - AD 14. Cistophoric tetradrachm, Ephesus, about 24-20 BC. AR 11.79 g. IMP. - CAE - SAR Bare head r.; linear circle. Rev. AVGVSTVS Capricorn r., head turned l.; all within laurel wreath. RIC² 80, 480; RPC I, 378, 2213; Sutherland/Olcay 62, 268 (same obv. die ?).

Scarce. Wonderful old toning. Large flan. Extremely fine
