ASIA MINOR, Uncertain. Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Cistophorus (25mm, 11.95 g, 12h). Ephesus mint(?). Struck circa 25-20 BC. IMP • CAESAR, bare head right / AVGVSTVS, capricorn right, head left, bearing cornucopia on its back; all within laurel wreath. Sutherland Group IV 124 var. (O5/R–, [unrecorded rev. die]); RPC I 2213 (Cistophoric mint); RSC 16. Lightly toned, a few minor marks. EF.
