Lot description: CILICIA, Tarsus. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ (32mm, 12.99 g, 1h). Struck AD 238. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / River-god Cydnus reclining left, holding cornucopia and resting elbow in urn from which water flows.
