MYSIA, Cyzicus. temp. Marcus Aurelius. AD 161-180. Æ (28mm, 13.10 g, 12h). Struck circa AD 169-175 or 180. Diademed head of the hero Kyzikos right / Poseidon standing left, foot on rock, holding dolphin and trident. RPC IV.2 9174; SNG BN 527; von Fritze III 7b var. (no trident). Red-brown surfaces, light porosity, scattered deposits, obverse flan crack. Near VF. Extremely rare, only one known to RPC.
