SOLI INV-I-CTO COMITI / C - S / R T Sol, nude but for chlamys, standing front, head to left, raising his right hand in salute and holding globe in his left. RIC 40. Double struck and with a flan crack and struck from a clashed reverse die, otherwise, very fine.

From the collection of Dr. L. Ramskold, formed since 1969.

This interesting coin shows multiple striking errors. It is severely double-struck on a very large flan. A second profile of Constantine is facing down and the mint mark RT is seen to the right of Sol. In addition, the reverse shows a die clash with the profile of Constantine facing left next to Sol.
