Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Silvered bronze, 19 mm, 4.03 g, 6 h), Rome, 314. IMP CONSTANTINVS P F AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right. Rev. SOLI INV-I-CTO COMITI / R - F / R✱S Sol, nude but for chlamys, standing front, head to left, raising his right hand in salute and holding globe in his left. RIC 19. A lovely coin with attractive surfaces and an unusual laurel wreath. The obverse a bit weak and with very minor flatness on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
