| Lot description: Elagabalus, 218-222. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 3.33 g, 11 h), uncertain mint in the East, 218-219. ANTONINVS PIVS FEL AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Elagabalus to right, seen from behind. Rev. FELICITAS / TEMP Galley to right over waves, with steerman, five rowers and vexillum amidships; at stern, acrostolium, at prow, mast slanted forward. BMC 277. Cohen 27. RIC 188. Thirion 348. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
