Caracalla, 198-217. Antoninianus (Silver, 23 mm, 5.05 g, 1 h), Rome, 217. ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to right, seen from behind. Rev. P M TR P XX COS IIII P P / VIC PART Victory seated right on cuirass, holding stylus in her right hand and shield inscribed VO / XX and set on her left knee with her left; at her feet, helmet; to left, shield; to right, trophy between two seated captives. BMC 199. Cohen 648. RIC 297d corr. (VOT XX on shield). Very rare. Very minor deposits and minor areas of weakness, otherwise, extremely fine.
